Braemac Environmental Policy

Braemac Limited recognises that its day-to-day operations and products have both a positive and negative impact on the environment. Braemac Limited is fully committed to minimising the pollution and harmful effects of its actions and products wherever practicable. Braemac Limited is demonstrating its corporate commitment through Environmental initiatives and is working towards gaining the ISO 14001 accreditation.

As a result Braemac Limited will:
• Comply with all relevant global environmental legislation.
• Minimise waste, maximise use of resources and prevent pollution in all parts of the business.
• Identify significant environmental & social impacts and establish objectives and targets for improvement.
• Review and improve the Company’s environmental performance.
• Communicate this policy to customers and suppliers.
• Ensure all company employees are aware of environmental issues through training and communication.
• Encourage all employees to be proactive in the maintenance and further development of the company environmental policy.
• Products purchased will be from reputable suppliers that comply with current environmental legislation i.e. – RoHS, WEEE.

This policy will be reviewed on an annual basis to ensure its continuing effectiveness.
