GFG
touchscreen construction are different from the conventional
resistive type. The commonly used PET layer is replaced with
a very thin layer of glass. This provides a number performance
advantages:

Greater material hardness (Mohs 5)
• Scratch and abrasion resistant
• Improved temperature specification
• Better optical performance
