NEW
32” AUO Eco-TFT – Competitors will be “green”
with envy
The
new 32” TFT from AUO has a power consumption of only 55w. The
use of improved panel transmittance and bulb technology has meant
a 47% power reduction against conventional panels, this is now similar
to many desktop TFT monitors just a few years ago.
With
worldwide energy costs soaring this news will be particularly welcome
to users with 24/7 digital information applications. Despite the reduced
power, the unit still produces a punchy 450nits, and maintains a sleek
slim bezel design.

Axiomtek
IP65 Panel PC – “For when the going gets tough…”
The AXIOMTEK PANEL1173-841 is a new rugged IP65 sealed industrial
panel PC ideal for applications including factory automation, process
control and building automation.
Featuring
a high quality 17” TFT, the unit is based on the Intel®
Q965 Express chipset, and will support an Intel® Core™2
Duo CPU with up to 3GB of dual channel DDR2 system memory. The unit
also benefits from 2-PCI expansion slots, 2 SATA interfaces and multiple
I/O.
Digitalview
HE-1920 – “Harsh Environment LCD Controller”
The new Digitalview HE-1920 is the ultimate LCD controller for industrial
users. Taken from the professional series, this fully buffered multi-sync
card is universally configured for multiple panel support (only jumper
and DIP switch adjustments are required). Functionality is extensive
and includes up/down scale, PIP, invert and flip.
The
HE-series are rugged versions of Digitalview’s standard industrial
range, and product benefits include enhanced environmental performance,
wide voltage tolerance and conformal coating.

"VIA bond lamination process"
When a standard window or touchscreen is applied to a TFT, an airgap
is created between the two mediums, resulting in refraction of light.
This leads to internal reflections and display (contrast) washout.
The innovative VIA-bond process fills the gap with specially formulated
material with cross-polymer capability. This creates an optically
matched solution maximising display viewability in a all light levels.
In addition the chemical bond increases the mechanical integrity of
the display.
