GeneralTouch’s patented Projected Infrared Touch (PIT) is a new cutting-edge multi-touch technology.
GeneralTouch delivers 2 kinds of PIT touchscreens for different applications: Common Version and Enhanced Version. The Enhanced Version PIT has attained Win 8 certification and typically for consumer applications. Common Version PIT has not applied for Win 8 certification yet, but its touch performance is nearly the same as the enhanced version, and typically for vertical markets.
