Resistive Touch Controllers
The AMT PenMount Touch Controller series provides customers with a total solution covering drivers and controller IC's. Whatever the size, it works perfectly with 4-, 5- and 8-wire resistive touch screens and PCAP touch screens.
PenMount resistive controller chips support both RS-232 and USB interfaces while the PenMount control board supports RS-232 or USB, or USB+RS-232 combo. For hardware, there are various board and connector types designed to meet different requirements. For software, the PenMount drivers support various system platforms such as Microsoft Windows, Linux, Android, QNX, and others.
Experienced in designing resistive touch controllers for >23 years, PenMount was the earliest resistive touch controller to appear on the market and has been dominating the field. In addition to the 4-, 5- and 8-wire touch screens, almost all commonly-used system platforms available on market including the following can be supported by PenMount touch controllers:

PenMount control boards are applicable for various purposes. Early in the design stages, AMT have separated between different interfaces and 4-, 5-, 8-wired types for the control boards for resistive touch screens, so that it is convenient for customers to apply the resistive touch screen that they have selected.
6 variants of PenMount control board exist:
• PM6300A : USB Interface, supporting 4, 8-wire or 5-wire touch screen.
• PM6500A & PM6200 : USB Interface ＆ RS232 Interface, supporting 4, 8-wire or 5-wire touch screen.
• PM6202B : USB Interface ＆ RS232 Interface, supporting 4-wire or 5-wire touch screen.
• PM9026BH : RS232 Interface, supporting 4, 8-wire touch screen.
• PM9036CH : RS232 Interface, supporting 4, 8-wire or 5-wire touch screen.
