The KONTRON Extended Lifecycle Series

 

The standard lifecycle of desktop mainboards is 12 months to a maximum of 18 months. Taking into consideration the enormous expense necessary for certification and engineering, that time frame i too narrow for many commercial applications. To solve this problem, KONTRON offers selected mainboards for an additional 12 to 24 month exceeding the series´ regular End of Life (EOL).

The mainboard components of the Extended Lifecycle Series are designed for long-term, continuous operations (24/7) in an extended temperature range and high system load. Extended Lifecycle mainboards are specified for a temperature range between 0 and 50°Celsius. They are applicable in many branches like Public and Corporate Tenders, Video Surveillance, Medical Systems, Webhosting and CAD Workstations.

	D3348-B The KONTRON Extended Lifecycle Mainboard D3348-B is a high performance ATX Board designed and manufactured for 24/7 continuous operation. The D3348-B is equipped with the Intel® C612 Chipset and supports the Intel® Xeon® Processor Series E5-26xx and E5-16xx (V3/V4), as well as Intel® Core™ i7 processors.
